Thank you for visiting my website where you can learn about Skyline Builders located in upstate New York. My name is Joe Berardi and I'm the owner.
I grew up in Rochester. I attended Bishop Kearney High School and Rochester Institute of Technology. I graduated with a Bachelor of Science Degree in Mechanical Engineering (BSME). I also have a Masters Degree in Business Administration (MBA).
I was recruited by General Electric Corporation for their Nuclear Plant Operations Program. I spent more than 15 years in the energy industry. I worked as a nuclear plant engineer, and moved on to customer service, calling on industrial accounts.
I came from a construction blue-collar environment. My dad came to this country as a stone mason in the 1950's. In the late 70's he started building custom homes. So every year from the time I was able to walk I had a summer job. I did all the grunt work - but I learned a lot about residential construction. When it came time to starting my own business, Skyline Builders was the perfect fit for my skills. With a technical business education, professional Fortune 500 management experience, and entrepreneurial upbringing in residential construction, I couldn't miss! We're not talking donut-making here!

Although my engineering career took me to various parts of the country, I decided to go back to my roots when deciding on a location for Skyline Builders. "Rochester is just the perfect place to live, raise a family, and run a business - there's a strong commitment to community, a healthy local economy, realistic real-estate costs, great schools, local sporting events...and great friendly people".
